Kita response 14-16 question 2

After the book reaches its climax with the death of Katies sister Lynn, Katie begins a new way of life. For the memory of her sister she makes her an altar and thinks about what Lynn would have liked her to do know if she would habe been alive. Her sisters wishes for her had been: work hard, go to collage. So now with the full reality of how much she had lost she tries to get A's and good grades in school, because there might be the small and if so faint possibility that Lynn was watching her and Katie wanted to make her happy.

  1. Finz, yes Lynn seems to serve as an inspiration for Katie now. It is very possible that she will positively influence her for the rest of her life!
