Compare Katies mother to her father. Choose which one she is closer to and give reasons why
In my opinion Katie is closer to her father tan to her mother. Also she loves both if I were in her position I would like it if my parents were proud of me , went to play with me and be strong and good minded in his decisions ( all of Katies dads traits). Her mother however shows her love to Katie in different ways. She is strict about how they grow up and what they should do but also she is fragile and weak both in body and (my hypothesis) not as a strong thinker as her husband. So in the times of change as Katie experiences I would like someone who is stronger in his decisions better than someone who is more fragile.
Finz, you have some interesting insights into Katie's parents. Yes, her father and mother show love to her in different ways, but Katie is definitely closer to her father for many of the reasons you mentioned.
